We passed through Waterville on our way to Tacoma. The fact that there was a terrace was a good reason to stop. Wise decision on our part. We had a coke and a salad. The salad was very tasty. What made the experience special was the service. The owner, cook, waitress was super friendly and attentive.

If you’re anywhere near Knemeyers in Waterville, it’s absolutely worth stopping in! We make it a point to eat there every time we’re in the area, and we’ve even taken a detour on road trips just so we can stop by and see Jess.

I had what I think was called the toad stool sandwich. The sandwich was lacking. It had an off flavor. A small amount of sorta limp fries. They only had ketchup in packets.
Overall I would not stop back.
The staff was very nice. She appeared to be running the show solo.
