Went in as soon as they opened and was welcomed with friendly staff which were more than happy to answer our questions about the history of the winery and the locations of all the grapes they use for the wine. Charity and Jessica were knowledgeable and so kind during our tasting, we decided to stay for lunch and were blown away by the tender filet and light and refreshing pasta. Highly recommend coming no matter the reason of being in town!
Got there early for dinner, so tried the wine tasting. The wine server said she had worked there for a long time and trained on wines, then served the tastings in the same glass without a rinse. Poor presentation, but I liked some of the wines. At dinner the monthly special lamb for dinner was well paired and delicious, as was the stuffed mushroom appetizer. Enjoyed a lovely dinner here, including some of their wine. There was live music which was a nice surprise and made it even more special.
The flatbread was delicious, as was the prime rib dip and truffle fries. We weren’t able to purchase any wine as we are already at our alcohol limit for bringing back home to Canada but we will be back next time!
