Hotrod Cafe has the BEST Burgers, Fries, Shakes, and Old Fashioned Umpqua Ice Cream in the Wenatchee Valley…HANDS DOWN!!!
I eat dinner here one night every week and I asked the owner why his food here tastes so great.
I found out there are several reasons the food here is SO AMAZING…. The owner insists on ONLY fresh (never frozen) locally farmed/raised meat and all of the fresh vegetables they use here are individually hand picked/chosen for quality and freshness.
I also found this out… The owner personally cleans (scrubs down) all the cooking grills and stove tops EVERY night for 2 hours to ensure he has the best quality tasting burgers. He also changes out the fryer oil EVERYDAY so any fried foods don’t have a greasy taste.
I highly recommend the Duramax and Blown Hemi Burgers, the Fresh Cut and Waffle Fries, and be sure not to forget to top your meal off with an Old fashioned handmade Shake or their generous scoops of Umpqua Ice cream!!

Stopped in for dinner and it was delicious! We wife needs to eat gluten-free and most places don't offer gluten-free buns so she tends to eat a bunless burger. She was so excited when they said that they do have a gluten-free bun and even more excited when she ate it and it was taosted and delicious. I was happy with my burger, but I was blown away with my chili cheese fries. Also, my kids are kinda picky eaters and they loved the food as well, especially the onion rings. All in all, the food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was family friendly and nostalgic. I highly recommend you stop in for a great meal!

This place offered great nostalgia even their grass parking lot with a single tree in the center was amazing and with some classic cars parked underneath. Their food was amazing. Their service was amazing. We were just stopping by as we were driving through to get back home on a 7-hour trip that food at the spot.

Its a decent burger place with prices that are a little high except for the larger portions. I tried the el Camino. I expected more BBQ sauce and the burger could have been seasoned a little bit better, however it still tasted fresh with a great grill taste and the onion rings were cooked fantastic. One thing they should list everything that comes on the burger as I was unaware of the lettuce tomatoes and uncooked onions, not a huge deal as I was able to just take them off. The fries were cooked great crispy as theyre listed on the menu just needed a little more salt (just my opinion) I also had some of their fry sauce which wasnt bad at all. The ambiance was great and fun. Overall for a trucker/general stop its not a bad place to get decent food
