Took a vacation down in Westport 2 weeks ago. Everything around the town is amazing. But I stopped in cuz I was curious and at first. Stepping in. I felt like I wasn’t welcomed. But I still sat down and ate and had a beer.. and the fries were really good. 👍. Also felt like a very “trumpy” hospitality. Definitely didn’t feel welcomed.
Definitely a local hangout but we were comfortable there and they had a good menu at reasonable prices. Nice to get away from the tourist area. Had a shrimp salad that was really good, lots of shrimp, and a bloody mary that included a skewer of meat, cheese and olives. Oyster shooters were also good, excellent local oysters.
Stopped by this little bar on our stay in Westport. The bartender, Andrea, was most definitely the best bartender we had on our entire trip to the PNW, very attentive and personable. The shuffle board table was fun. Would definitely come back when we're back in town.
