I have to start out with the low point. This was our first time eating here on Friday 9/11. We have heard how amazing the food is here. We went upstairs to sit down. The girl working there was so rude!! Not welcoming at all! Just stood there and looked at us, no greeting or even a smile! I said Hello and she says hello rudely! Fish lovers!
I must say that this is the best Fish n Chips I have had in years. You can actually tell that it is fresh out of the ocean. It's flaky and oily with a nice fresh fish scent. I am from New England and I know what good clam chowder tastes like. Merino's is the closest your gonna get to the real deal. It's a good experience. The food is very good and portions more than fair. It has outside dining as well as a small upper dining on the balcony and inside (although limited when the volume of people that go there.
