Gem of a spot. We ordered the quesabirria, a chicken burrito, and horchata and it’s up there with the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu and aguas frescas.
Figgies is ALWAYS on it! Growing up in Southern California, I was spoiled with authentic Mexican food so I’m slightly picky about our choices here in the PNW. Eating here reminds me of home… authenticity, flavor, all of it 😍 Staff is always helpful and kind, the food is delicious every time, and they’re quick and efficient even during the busy season. Highly recommend Figgies for all that they are! You won’t be disappointed.
I ordered the Al Pastor burrito, and it had a tomato-based sauce that didn't taste like traditional Mexican al pastor. It seems like the menu is adapted more to local tastes and demographics rather than offering authentic Mexican flavors. I tried to enjoy the burrito either way, but I didnt end up finishing my food. I liked that they grilled the outside of the tortilla, it was a nice touch. The orange sauce that came with the burrito tasted weird. Maybe its just the choice...
