Great food, fun location, excellent service!

Me, my wife and Daughter had dinner here everything was great.

Not sure what happened, but this isn’t the Henni’s it once was. The food was overpriced and poorly cooked which, in the gorge, can be forgiven… however having to wait for an hour for it started to feel insulting. Add in the snotty waitress and it made for an overall bad experience.

My wife and I celebrated our 52nd anniversary with a great meal at Henni's. We have eaten there numerous times over the years (we live nearby) and have always enjoyed excellent food and service.

All the food was fantastic and had a delicious creative cocktail. Really friendly place with great staff and a mix of locals and tourists.

Everything was so delicious and we were served very quickly. The focaccia, calamari were soooo good! And we had rock fish for main course. Highly recommend!

Wonderful spot. Local and lovely. Excellent staff, delicious food!

Ben, their bartender, is the best thing that has happened to Henni’s. He is very knowledgable, keeps a pep in his step, and is very intuitive with his guests. If Ben is your server/bartender, you are in for a beautiful experience. Thanks for everything, Ben!

The food was good but the service was slow.

Visited with a group of friends. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the food and drinks were enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. The staff’s attitude came across as elitist and flat, lacking warmth. One member of our group even heard our server talking about one of us when they used the restroom. A request for a simple modification to a dish was dismissed without consideration. Disappointing service overshadowed what could have been a great dining experience.

Everything was absolutely perfect. I was with a very large group. Our server was so great and the food was amazing. I got the steak which was cooked to perfection. Dessert was out of this world good. 100 Stars!!!

Nice and airy, clean and friendly. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great especially the malva pudding dessert.

We came to Henni’s for a friends birthday. Our group had been at an event at Griffin House in Hood River. It was a great venue. Two cocktails and then we left to eat at Henni’s. Walking in, I asked to sit at the bar while they were setting an outdoor table. My friends are wine distributors and had a lot of questions. It was fun. We ordered drinks and then decided we liked the bar atmosphere and decided to stay in there to eat. We ordered wine and appetizers. The food came. Then the bartender came up to us and said he was not serving us the wine because we “came in hot”. I look down at our 3/4 drinks at our table and was absolutely stunned. There was zero zero zero reason for this judgment to refuse us a service. I’m 60 and my friends are younger. In all our lives, we have not had this happen. Two drinks prior to walking in. It is a huge disappointment. I know Sara and Christian and they were not in that night. The promise of fine dining in a small town was massively disappointing. I can say it isn’t an overly friendly place. But I don’t go there for that. It has food I like. We paid and went to Hood River for food and to examine every moment of the experience. I’m still baffled. I am telling everyone I know. Everyone I know, knows I am not an over drinker nor were my friends. It was a bad call. Sara. You should ask what happened. It was a miscalculated judgement

I went in about 45 min before close, sat by myself and ordered what I thought was going to be quick- burger. The food was tasty but not a huge fan of serving on a cutting board. The servers and hostess were nice and professional.

I do not recommend sitting at the bar, it was very uncomfortable as the bartender on staff was very rude. Yikes. Probably the most rude bartender I’ve experienced.

Hot tip to the bartender: I’ve been to Berlin, and Germany several times and there are many friendly people there- not sure that your serving style is going to fit in like you might think it is.

The View was beautiful the service impeccable and accommodating and the food delicious what a lovely little gem and a beautiful surprise for my wife and I to share a tasty delicious dinner would absolutely come back here
