I remember the handmade tortillas… the table service… the kind and personable waitstaff… I remember it all.
Best food we have ever had. The service was wonderful and the food was great. We had a party of 37 people and they were fast and friendly. Thank you so much!

Great food. Vibes were off with guy behind the bar approximately 8pm Monday Aug 11. Stocky guy, top buttons undone, zero hospitality. You’re in the service industry, man… at least try to smile.

Amazing food
What a friendly place with great food.
I can't remember the names of the dishes, but they have some you can't find most places.

Laid back atmosphere. Place orders at the counter and then food delivered to your table. Different preparation than I would have expected, but wow, excellent food. I had a taco bowl. Delicious. Others really enjoyed their food also.

THE BURRITO!!! 🌯 best we’ve ever had! The chips and guacamole are delicious and presentation beautiful. Kind staff and very kid friendly spot. Would definitely come back! Looks (and tastes) gourmet for a very reasonable price!

We LOVE Pixan! Every time we re in White Salmon, we stop. Specifically that burrito - don't sleep on it.
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our 'welcome party' ahead of our wedding at Pixan. Chris, the owner, and the entire staff went above and beyond. Communication, flexibility, and service were 10/10! The environment was exactly what we were looking for and every single guest was RAVING about the food - Tbh, it was better than our actual wedding dinner ;)

My go to always!
I want to be clear that I like the food here and that service 95% of the time has been great. But it is staggering that they can’t manage putting the chips on the side for their nachos to go; maybe in a bag (like when they do chips and salsa) or a separate box (like what they put the nachos in normally). That way people that live outside of downtown White Salmon, that want to enjoy their nachos to go without their chips being the consistency of a soggy napkin, can enjoy them too. I’ll admit it is a first world problem but I mean come on? Too difficult to figure out? If that’s the case I don’t even know what to say. So you don’t care enough to make it work. Ok I’ll get over it. But don’t feed me some story about it being some grand imposition. That’s just embarrassing. I’ll go somewhere else. NBD.

Genuinely some of the best tacos I've had in years! I liked the mushroom the best but I also got the potatoes which were good. Make sure you ask for no cheese sprinkle! The drinks were REALLY good.
This place is sweet! Great food, good drink selection and fun vibe. We recently moved to the gorge and will be back!

When Pixan opened, we’d actually drive from pdx go eat. The food was solid, the service was friendly and taco platter was legit with homemade tortillas made it worth the trip.
I brought in three friends tonight…it really fell short.
1. Not one friendly or welcoming gesture.
2. Order at the bar and a tip is expected.
3. When it opened, it was cute, clean and maintained. Today, it’s worn, weathered, and doesn’t look clean. I wiped down our table.
It simply did not feel special or like it stands out in any way. Four of us dined there and spent almost $150. While the food was delivered to our table, we also had to bus our table. The experience was incredibly disappointing.

Stopped in while in town, cannot wait to come back. Margaritas are fantastic, but the main star is the quesatacos! Best vegetarian meal I had on my trip.

We stopped here before an event in the area for dinner. We didn't realize it was walk up & order or that it was so casual. It wasn't a negative aspect, just unexpected. We sat outside on their picnic style seating, thankfully they have umbrellas which helped from being in the direct sun. I ordered the pork shoulder braised in pumpkin seed mole, served with warm tortillas & taco fixings (shredded cabbage, pickled onions, a jalapeno, cilantro and a lime wedge). It was a big portion and ended up bringing 1/2 home. It was very tasty and loved the pumpkin mole. My husband ordered the Bistec, which was a grilled steak in a creamy mushroom so frio, charred scallions and chili butter. It was also served with warm tortillas & taco fixings. He loved it. He also had a classic margarita which he really enjoyed. Fresh and clean ingredients. We decided we would come back to try the tacos if we are in the area after 4pm (they open at 4pm- and it was a heavier meal than I normally eat at that time, which is just a personal preference). It was a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and upbeat.
