We decided to do a little drive towards Rainier and stopped by the Carlson Block for pizza, and we are so happy we did. Not only was the service super friendly but the pizza was delicious. We started with their Cesar salad which was honestly a perfect balance of ingredients. We then shared a pizza with half sausage and fennel then half brussel sprouts and bacon. The food was great, pizza was flavorful, and the sourdough was light and airy. Fresh ingredients and great taste. The service and seating could use some work. It’s on a first come basis so if there are no seats you have to wait around for something to open up. Overall a great food spot with good vibes. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
Pizza was GREAT. However, over half our party was not able to even order food since they ran out of dough at 5:30 on a Friday night. I understand it can be limited, but dinner time on a Friday night seems like it could have been better planning. It's a cute little restaurant. I wish there was more seating. We will order ahead next time before we drive out there to get food to make sure everyone can actually eat
