Charming little bistro. The Chef made a perfect omelette and freshly fried potatoes. My wife loves the scramble. Really good breakfast. Everyone who worked there, the Chef, the manager, the volunteers in the thrift store, all of them welcoming and helpful. And with all my food issues I was delighted that they had gluten-free bread and delicious herbal teas. The restaurant is half of the building, the rest is a thrift store. Joan Baez sang "Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got till it's gone...". Come to Winrock and eat (breakfast or lunch) at the Rowdy Rooster! Buy some kitch at the thrift store. So many hot sandwiches to choose from. Nice prices. Nice folk. I'm just passing through and don't have any interest other than knowing that we need places like this for our communities to thrive. My Reuben was great.

I love Rowdy Rooster. We use the food bank, which is wonderful, with great food choices, I have also been a volunteer. The people are great with values I admire, Rylee, the manager, is so sweet. She TRULY CARES about Winlock, WA people, and their needs. John and all the board members are GOOD PEOPLE. The thrift store side is fun, and the food in the Bistro is wonderful.
