Amazing view with friendly service and delicious food. Although we needed to wait a little longer for our orders to arrive, the kind waiter offered us freshly made potato chips when we were waiting. Highly recommended this place and we will keep coming back.

We had a wonderful family dinner. The setting was beautiful, the service was great, staff were all super friendly and accommodating of our family (including young children) and the meal was delicious. We are so glad we dined here!

Small portions & far too overpriced. Setting & service were good but there are better food options in town.

Such a beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. Very good food. The menu is limited, but they let my kids order off the bar menu. Found out later there is a kids menu as well. Food was pretty slow and we were there over 2 hours. We will go back more prepared with this knowledge.

I had breakfast with friends in the dininig room. My only wish is that the plates were hot not just warm when food is served. I prefer housemade hash browns rather than the frozen version. Otherwise, the meal was excellent.

Nice meal, no complaints. Challenging evening with outdoor temps -10F. Made it difficult to heat the space, given all its glorious windows, and they were doing a reasonably good job of it. Made a meal of pretty much all the starters and almost all could be recommended - Caesar with chicken, chicken curry soup, burrata cheese dip and smoked carrot dish were quite nice. The mushroom strudel was a little bready, could have been flakier. Service was very good. Ambience delightful.

The service was friendly, but the food took forever - for the main course and dessert. And we felt everything was way overpriced! I had the chicken dish - there were probably no more than 3 or 4 oz if meat with mashed potato and mushrooms and it was $42! The fruit cobbler dessert was so small that even with ice cream on top, it didn't even crest the top of the tea cup it was served in. It wasn't crisp at all - very mediocre- and was $14! The tablecloth on the table across from us was all tattered and ripped- someone should've noticed things like that. After the slow service and high prices at both the bar and dining room, we went in to town for all of our remaining meals. The view, of course, was gorgeous and the staff were nice.

It is heartbreaking to see what has happened to Sun Mountain Lodge. My family has been going there for years now, and my husband and I had one of the best meals of our lives there as recently as 2021. Unfortunately, since it changed ownership in 2022, the quality of the food and service at the restaurant has gone steeply downhill. It literally took our server 30 minutes to bring out a coffee and a bloody Mary! The restaurant was out of key items, such as hashbrowns, and we found out only after ordering our food that we would not get toast with our breakfast because the toaster broke!! It took us an hour and 20 minutes to get out of there, and the breakfast was quite pricey for the quality of the food and service we received. It is my sincere hope that the new manager of the restaurant reads this and makes changes. We will not be going back until we hear things have improved.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner in the lodge that included a glass of wine, great Caesar salad, filet mignon cooked to perfection and EXCELLENT service. The ambience was quiet so we could enjoy good conversation. Also, the prices were very reasonable compared to fine dining on the west side!

We had our wedding anniversary dinner at Sun Mt Lodge last night, and it was perfect. Excellent food (highly recommend the curry soup, among others), friendly and attentive service, and an atmosphere that is a nice combination of casual and elegant. We look forward to more special meals there in the future.

Beautiful setting, disappointing food. We had a 4 course Xmas dinner with wine pairing that exceeded $200 pp. The lobster bisque was good enough but the broth probably came out of a can. The tenderloin in pastry was the highlight. The vegetable croquetta had a baby food like texture. The prime rib was well done and dry. We sent it back and asked for medium rare and it came back well done. Alas, the crème brûlée custard tasted like it came from a mix. The Xmas tree and decore were lovely. The highlight was a young guest who played some jazzy carols after dinner.

I gave a low review because one of our dishes, the prime rib, was totally over cooked. Other dishes were a mixed bag. Service was not prepared for what was billed as a $99 Prix fix dinner which as a Christmas Day special I had high expectations for as Sun Mountain lodge and this restaurant bills as high end

Ignore all the old bad reviews as the chef and kitchen staff have changed in the last couple week. Our dining experience was amazing! It was our wedding anniversary and I noted it on the reservation. The manager, server, and wait staff all wished us a happy one as we checked in. We were seated at the center window table, which had a hand made congrats card from our server, napkins were in the shapes of hearts, and we were given a glass of sparkling cider. Warm rolls were served after we ordered and we each had the Chalen Golden Cider. For our starters my wife had a tasty Caesar salad with anchovies, burnt lemon, and bread, and I had a mushroom strudel that was so flavorful and flaky, just wow! Quality food takes time and we enjoyed each others company. Main course for my wife was the 8oz filet mignon medium and her knife seemingly just slid thru it and her face said it all, worth it! I had the jidori chicken, which was full of flavor. For dessert she had the carrot cake and I had a slice of chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and bacon toffee chips. It was the perfect dinner and setting for us and left 100% content, full, and glad we chose the dining room to celebrate!

Breakfast was great but dinner was... ok. Nice staff and the service was great. I think the kitchen staff put out a nice quality of life food but menu design has some problems.

Had a dining credit and dining room had no idea how to handle that, the credit made checkout very confusing. I ended up without the credit and returned back to have charges at checkout adjusted.
