We had a wonderful dinner last night at the lodge. They had not one but two vegan dishes! As a vegan traveler I can’t tell you how happy this made me. Both dishes, a roasted cabbage with a coconut curry sauce and flatbread mushroom pizza, far exceeded my expectations. Both were delicious! The staff was amazing too. We really enjoyed are meal. What a treat. Thank you Sun Mountain Lodge!
Beautiful dining room. Sarah, our waitress was great, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She was wonderful and she was our server several times. Tim could not have done a better job. He was friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated both of them. As an aside, when we dined in the Wolf Pub both Sarah and Benjamin improved our experience, on top of things and just delightful. From everything we saw during our stay 1/1-4 these three stood out as excellent representatives...
We had a 10:15 a.m. breakfast reservation on Saturday and arrived shortly before. It was immediately clear the host, Tim, was doing the work of multiple people. Despite being visibly overwhelmed, he remained professional, courteous, and attentive throughout. We were seated at the table we requested. It took about 15 minutes for our waitress to arrive, and another 15 minutes for a simple coffee order to be delivered—something Tim ultimately had to bring us himself while our waitress...
