The service was great and fast! Food was the best breakfast foods we’ve had in awhile. My husband had the chocolate chip pancakes & Effin Tots and I had a J-Rod burrito, everything was delicious and came in large affordable portions. They even offer a cash discount! Definitely coming back and recommending to everyone I know.

I am really disappointed on the food. The "hashbrowns" were dry and hard. There was a hair on my bacon. I tried reaching out to them , they do not have a phone number on their website or google. That tells me everything I needed to know about the type of restaurant this is. The orange juice does not taste like orange juice. I want my money back. This was a waste of money.

The food was good and the place was clean and bright. But, the way the man at the register, owner or manager, was speaking to one of the employees was terrible. People can hear you. Treat your employees better!

Yakima needs more places like Effin Egg! I have to disagree with the harsh reviews (which appear to be from people who mostly post negative reviews).......The food is great! I highly recommend The OG, The CEO, or the spicy brisket. It's way better than what you would get from any of the fast food chains, but not nearly as expensive as a lot of the sit-down breakfast restaurants. The sandwiches and burritos are a solid portion and will fill you up! Value is definitely there for what you get.

One of the things I appreciate about Effin Egg is that they hire a lot of high school kids and teach them customer service. Great stuff!

Give it a try and you won't be disappointed! This is one of the best breakfasts in Yakima!

It’s not me being mean but don’t waste your money here. It’s disgusting and customer service was horrible. My boyfriend literally spit out his bite of food and he’s not picky. Oh, and the drinks are literally disgusting.

Stood in line for about 10
Minutes 3 people working not one person said anything to us to take our order. It’s a small place so we were not hard to see standing in front of the cash register. They need better customer service for sure. Smelled good inside

Place low key slaps

Vegetarian options: Just don’t be vegetarian plain and simple

Dietary restrictions: It’s eggs so if you can’t eat eggs don’t go.

Parking: Shared with other business in the strip so plenty to come round

Wheelchair accessibility: Tables sit low and have plenty of space to pull up a wheelchair

**update**

I hate to knock scores down like this but I feel there are some issues here that need to be addressed. One: Met the owner who casually said yeah there’s no phone number you can call which as a business is a big red flag for me. He seemed more interested in updating the web app than getting a business phone number. Additionally today we have straight burnt pancakes that I refuse to serve my son and won’t eat myself and our tacos and burrito were dry. There seems to be an issue with consistency of standards which would explain the mixed reviews. We still love some of the items we get here and will maybe continue eating here, but I want to see more consistency in quality and a phone number before I restore my original 5* review. Also our portion of dirty papas was skimpy today which is our favorite thing.
—end update—

I had heard mixed reviews and food I had seen to go seemed small, but when I took my family in today it was a great experience with all the right surprises.

Gil was our customer service today, and gold star for him.

The food was terrific and toddler approved. The price was good for the food, and they have a great variety to choose from. Plus many specials and discounts daily for teachers/military/police/medical workers are included. That Effin brisket breakfast burrito was one of if not the best breakfast burrito I have had in a long time in Yakima.

If I had to get nitpicky, I am sad that the teacher/vet/police/medical worker discounts can’t be applied along with the daily discount, but that there is an option is nice in the first place. Plus their shirts and hoodies are a bit pricey but I still want one of each.

I will be back. Often. To quote the wife “They were Effin Egg-cellent”.

Parking: They share parking with surrounding businesses but there’s plenty to go around.

effi Egg as the best breakfast burritos in Yakima. I love Willy’s brisket and my vegetarian girlfriend loves the Hippy Dippy. The burritos are huge and full of healthy ingredients. The service is good and the wait is short. Great deal on Wednesdays: $3 off all burritos. Give this place a try: you will be glad you did!
