“Grew up in Yakima as a kid in the 50's. Our family were fans of your big delicious hamburgers for 25 cents each! Then the price went up in the 60's to 50 cents each. Well, I just had to stop for a hamburger with my siblings sometime in 1983, I think and the same favorite hamburgers were a $1.50 each. What a treat to see the building be the same place when we were kids! On the day we were there, you were just finishing a new paint job on the building. Thank you for the memories.“

“When I travel, I like to eat at the local, small diners & drive ins. I was wanting a burger & tots, as I headed thru. They were WAY too pricey for me to have the burger ($15 to $18) & tots (an additional like $5). I ended up having a large ice cream....there was easily one and a half pints on that cone. Hands down, the largest standing cone I've ever personally seen..(or eaten 😋)..it was well worth the $5. The guy was pretty friendly & obviously a talented cone creator!🍦 I'm sure they're burgers are great....but...travel budgets are real..lol...Next time, I'll know to up the budget & i'll definitely give em another try :)“
