Ron’s Tacos and Burgers Reviews
I hope I came on a bad day. Service was so slow. It took 30 minutes just to get through 3 cars in the drive through and place our order. And the legendary cones were half the size of what we got just 2 years ago.
The cones were still tasty and the staff friendly. Just sad about the famous cones shrinking and long delays.
Get the ice cream
Ron's is a staple of the Yakima community. Awesome food, great service and all at a reasonable price. They have the best ice cream in the entire valley! My family and I all got 5 medium cups of soft serve and a large fry and paid less than $40. Spending that little in this economy is a rarity. My parents took me to Ron's when I was a child, and thankfully, 30 years later I can do the same with my kids.

Ron’s Tacos and Burgers is a small joint with a walk-up or drive-up window. While the burgers are average, the tacos are quite good, and the gigantic ice cream cones steal the show. Known for its soft-serve ice cream, it is a classic spot for families and friends to create lasting memories. The menu offers a good selection, including an outstanding cheeseburger and fries combo. The ice cream in a cup is unique to them, and their churro sundae is a favorite among many. The staff is generally friendly, catering to kids, but some recent visits have reported less attentive service. Despite this, Ron’s remains a beloved spot for delicious ice cream and supports local businesses.
