Ron's is a staple of the Yakima community. Awesome food, great service and all at a reasonable price. They have the best ice cream in the entire valley! My family and I all got 5 medium cups of soft serve and a large fry and paid less than $40. Spending that little in this economy is a rarity. My parents took me to Ron's when I was a child, and thankfully, 30 years later I can do the same with my kids.
Place has been around forever they have amazing shakes and good price burgers better than McDonald's for sure. I really like the milkshakes and they even put cake into one of them lots of options.
When I travel, I like to eat at the local, small diners & drive ins. I was wanting a burger & tots, as I headed thru. They were WAY too pricey for me to have the burger ($15 to $18) & tots (an additional like $5). I ended up having a large ice cream....there was easily one and a half pints on that cone. Hands down, the largest standing cone I've ever personally seen..(or eaten 😋)..it was well worth the $5. The guy was pretty friendly & obviously a talented...
