This place is a hidden gem! We celebrated my birthday at Kyoto Sushi & Steak House recently and it was such a fun experience! The whole family was entertained by a fantastic chef that performed all sorts of tricks with eggs, fire and utensils! He had us all laughing and even got everyone to participate in a broccoli catching contest! The most important part, was the food! The chef cooked all the food in front of our party, making sure to carefully acknowledge some food allergies...
Fish was fresh. 6 of us shared a party boat, calamari, a bento box and a tempura plate and we were all full. They serve unnecessary large portion of rice lol, no complaints but it was a LOT. The camari was not good, hard batter, i do not recommend. The beef bento box, everything on the box was good except the beef, very well done and hard. Tempura was good, i wish they use the same coating for the calamari, would've been a whole lot better. Party boat was the star, very yummy...
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the food was great.
Every time I've went to stop is very knowledgeable on gluten-free options and are very accommodating.
