Staff is so cheerful and kind, our group had unexpected guests and they quickly put tables together. They were extremely busy but the food came out quickly and we never felt neglected. Love the 50s dinner atmosphere. Highly recommend the steak tips and eggs! We can't wait to go back the next time we have in Yakima.
We have actually made short vacations to Yakima because we wanted to go to Mel's Diner. I get the Mel's Scramble pretty much every time, but I've had a few other things too. My wife really enjoyed the Chorizo Omelette too, but there's just something about that scramble... oh yeah, it's the corn tortillas chopped up and mixed in. Amazing. And the service is top notch, it's rare any more to find a place that keeps the coffee coming; most places...
This place rocks. they have all this old time car seats made from old cars the staff was awesome very nice friendly and the food wow so good and the food came so fast it was one of the best experiences here in Yakima
