I went here for the first time after wanting to go here for a while but I can honestly say that everything 10/10 I walked in to a 1950s styled diner and was respectfully treated while ordering and the people are passionate about working there.
When you think about Mel's you by memory smell cigarettes and breakfast cooking. It's nostalgic to walk in and smell the stale smoke but at the same time it makes my allergies go crazy so I can't enjoy my time here. I've been coming here since I was little with my grandpa and the food is usually always good. Service is always prompt though.
This place is a true piece of Americana.
The atmosphere is a flash-back to days gone by. The food is exactly what you would expect. The service is excellent.
