We just moved to Yakima and have been looking for a comfortable place to have a nice breakfast in an inviting atmosphere. For us, we found it at Mel's Diner! Friendly, smiling staff. Nostalgic 60s atmosphere. Breakfast was delightful. We can't wait to go back and try their lunch.

Best breakfast in Yakima. Lots of options. Amazing staff. Great service. No wait for table. Less then 15 minutes for our food. Mel's scamble is awesome. Thank you Mel's Staff.

We stayed in Yakima overnight passing through and the hotel clerk recommended this diner for a meal. It did not disappoint! The decor is awesome and the staff were so friendly and made our whole morning! The food was delicious. The best steak sandwich I have ever had!
