Stopped by the Waffle Caffe with our Grandkids on our trip last weekend. The place was packed, but our wait was less than 5 minutes and our server was immediately at our table to greet us and get the great meal started. My omelet was the perfect size and delicious also the sides were great. The kids loved the Strawberry Cheesecake waffles. The atmosphere was one of happiness in controlled chaos with all the friendly servers going from table to table keeping coffee cups filled and chatting with customers and serving meals. Wonderful place that I highly recommend!!

Don’t listen to that Ruben guy. My wife and I were there and he was being extremely nitpicky, confrontational, and rude. Truly a male Karen if there ever was one. My wife and I go there regularly and lemme tell ya… some of the best food, best service, and friendliest staff we’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. Waffles Cafe is probably our favorite spot in Yakima to eat. You can rest assured of you go there, you’ll leave full and satisfied, and not spend a fortune for it. 10/10

My family and I went to Waffles for breakfast this morning and the waitress was sweet, polite and checked up on us throughout our meal(5 stars to her), the young man was on top of things keeping our coffee filled(5 stars to him), the young lady checked to see if we needed our water refilled(5 stars to her), our food was excellent(as always)(5 stars to the cooks for excellent food), and the ambiance was great also.

Very disappointed, came in on a Sunday expecting to wait. Went to the front told the hostess my party size and was told to wait.So I waited, only to see multiple people come in go up and get seated.Terrible first impression.

The food was so delicious. French toast and chicken fried steak was so tasty and flavorful. The gravy had good amount of sausage and well seasoned. The service was fast despite it being a busy full house this morning. Good customer service, great attitude and homely feel. I will definitely visit when in Yakima again!
This place does the trifecta, great food, service and atmosphere. The unique food options will keep you coming back for more. I have had the opportunity to try a few of their dishes, all with great flavor and portions for the price. The different dessert style of pancakes, waffles and crepes are super tasty. My most recent one of a butterfinger waffle with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream with a chocolate drizzle tasted so good! The staff are prompt and hard working and are quick on coffee refills and checking in on you during the meal to make sure all is going well. Great place to check out.

Excellent portions. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs which is very likely the greasiest plate one can order here. The hashbrowns are slogging in oil and the corned beef hash is straight out of a can. No homemade stuff here. A run of the mill fast-paced breakfast joint. Am giving four stars in that the portions were adequate and overall performance of the wait staff.

Everything was great! I forgot to get our waitress name, but she was the sweetest! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and able to be sat right away. I ordered the stuffed strawberry crepes and they were so delicious! Price was very good for the amount of food we got! Definitely go get breakfast there. We will be back!
