What a gem!! Let's start with the absolutely charming and welcoming entrance. You then enter this sweet house filled with loving touches that immediately made me excited to see if they offered that same passion to their food. And boy did they!! My water (yes just a plain free tap water) with a beautiful touch of a red heart made cleverly from freezing cranberries in a mold with a slice of fresh lime. I'm already smitten!! I ordered the veggie sandwich with toasted wheat bread. I am left to wonder if it gets better than this. Only to order a slice of the chocolate, chocolate cake and blown away. The food is fresh, flavorful and unforgettable! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Yakima next month to try their breakfast, which I'm told is fantastic! The staff were just the right about of being attentive without being too much. Really nothing but positive praise can be said.

I super love this place. The setting is amazing. The cozy feel from the moment you walk in Gloria is the best!! We just love her to pieces. Give her a big raise or promote her to management!! She's lovely!! The food is presented beautifully... is like an awe factor with every plate. Perfect place to catch lunch or breakfast with friends. Prices have just recently went up with the new ownership. We need more unique places around here like this one

We stopped here for brunch on our trip home from Seattle to Oregon and it did not disappoint! The portions were very large and every little detail was delicious and beautiful. A lovely brunch in a quaint old farmhouse-- we will be back!

A quaint place to meet with friends or family for a lovely meal. It's a cute venue with great home cooked food. They make each meal an exceptional experience. It's hard to find that anymore. I love the little heart touches sprinkled throughout the meal and setting!

First time at The White House. Friendly staff, beautiful old house. Menu is minimal, with sandwiches and soups mainly. They also have salads and fresh fruit. Our water came with a cute little frozen heart ice cube with 2 cranberries in it. Made for a gorgeous display. I had an open sandwich with pesto, turkey, tomato, provolone cheese, and onions, all grilled before serving. It was so-so. Hard to eat. I ended up cutting with a knife and eating with a fork. It came with soup or salad. I chose soup, which turned out to be cream of asparagus, very tasty. The best part was the beautiful chunk of Spice cake. Best I've ? ever had. All orders brought out that I could see on other tables were artfully displayed! A feast for the eyes as you filled your stomach. Though I did not care for my sandwich, I will definitely return to that little White House on the hill. Its worth another sandwich.

Yum! White House Cafe was recommended to me by a friend who said they had the best breakfast in Yakima. Don't let this house deceive you, inside is a delicious breakfast or lunch! My family and I ordered some omelettes, I got the oatmeal, and we shared a couple of cinnamon rolls as well. Our server was so sweet and quick. We asked about if they made pancakes and waffles, she let us know that they do not, which is a bit strange for a breakfast spot, but not a deal breaker. Ambiance is giving cute, antique store. It feels very home-like and the food tastes like it's made with love as if I was at home. Would recommend!
