“This place has a great family atmosphere early. the kitchen is open from 11am when they open until 9pm. the bar typically closed between 9 & 10 pm depending on how busy they are. they are open Monday -Saturday with daily specials. Monday is Italian, Homemade lasagna, Ravioli, Spaghetti and meatballs, and Piggy Mac which is white cheddar cheese macaroni with BBQ pork. all are very delicious. Tuesday is a Prime Rib Sandwich with potato. Wednesday is wings. Thursday is Mexican. Friday is Fish. Saturday is Chef's Choice, with various specials. Friday is $3 old fashions starting at 5pm and Saturday is $3 pint rail mixers starting at 5 pm. friendly bartenders and great cooks. come enjoy a meal and some cocktails.“

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and conversation. A reservation only establishment, we learned it's a family affair.

With Chef Curt at the helm for about two years, crafting seasonal, local flavors we were excited about the menu. My family ordered the Brussels sprouts and calamari to start. Then with the macadamia nut crusted walleye as a popular dish, I chose that.

The appetizers we chose were absolutely heavenly. The best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted, I could've eaten the entire bowl as my meal (and almost did). Calamari is a favorite for us and this did not disappoint, crispy flavorful, my son almost ate this entire plate by himself!

When my walleye dish was placed in front of me, I was so excited to dive in. The fish was so incredibly tender, divine, the seasonal vegetables cooked to perfection and dripping in such a delicate flavor. The best walleye l've ever had.

In such an unassuming dive bar, to experience hand crafted food at this level of flavor was an experience for us. The service was top notch.

Archie's is really a must visit.

“The food and drinks were phenomenal. We had unloaded bloodies, prime rib cheesesteak sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and the hot chicken sandwich. All amazing and the tots and onion rings were perfect. The service was impeccable as we sat at the bar. We even ordered three 9 inch pizzas (not par baked) to go for dinner! Excellent vibes, service and food! Highly recommend!“

“Friday night fish fry was outstanding. Second time that i tried this place. I asked the guy who was from Minnesota and sitting next to me at the bar what he thought of his fish that he was finishing up and he said it was great. I then proceeded to ask a few other random people also who were leaving how their food was and everyone said it was Great. The drinks were good and strong and no skimpyness on the alcohol at a very reasonable price. I give this a 5 star and i will be going back. It was totally Outstanding as i have heard from many others prior to my first visit. I highly reccomend the windmill.“
