The place was the highlight of my vacation up north! Great staff, great food, and the coolest bar/outdoor atmosphere I've ever seen. Burger was amazing and they have the weirdest fries that are absolutely delicious.
Not your usual bar. Interesting decor. Menu is unique for bar food. I started with Praag poppers to share and finished with the special: Pork tenderloin sandwich with 2 sides. Plenty to eat and loaded with meat. Prices are reasonable and service was good.
Take the winding roads through the coulee region of wild western Wisconsin and you will find Bucknuckles. There’s road base parking in front of a couple of rustic dark wood buildings with more farming and outdoor items ever to greet you than any other ‘bar and grill. There are also a couple of gals working there who are sure to warm your heart when you get to know them. And the owner is a pretty nice guy to chat with too. I toured the place and then ordered chicken drumsticks...
