“This was our first time visiting your Chippewa falls location at Market on River, and it was wonderful! Before eating, we got to walk through the building which has been beautifully restored and visit the shops. Hubby, the notorious picky eater, had a Wisco Whiz burger and fries and absolutely loved them. I had the brussel sprouts topped with bacon and pickled onions, and that was a meal as itself. Very generous portions which makes the menu items well worth their price, fresh and local ingredients, and the staff were attentive, cheerful, and great about recommending items based on our taste preference as well as encouraging us to try new items. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience - we’ll definitely be back!“

“I was so impressed by the staff here! We just left after a very hectic early morning Packer game and I was just so impressed by how amazing the service was! Despite the large crowd they were attentive, fast and so welcoming. It seemed like they all genuinely enjoyed it all when it would have been easy to feel overwhelmed. Plus the food and Bloody Mary’s were delicious! 10/10 would recommend for a game or just a few drinks! Will be back!“

“service has been getting slower and slower. food is fantastic, but front of house staff are courteous, but seem to spend more and more time walking back and forth rather than actually accomplishing anything despite customers waiting. rarely have followups for refills on drinks. and that's sitting at the bar. multiple people had to come get things from the bar because staff wouldn't go out to tables.“

The room had the perfect setup allowing for ease at getting food and drinks. Our bartender Hannah was great!!“

“We stopped in last night after a sporting event, the female bartender was friendly. The food was great! We had burgers and fries, good flavor. The bun was toasted, we also had cheese curds, we got a good amount. We didn’t think anything was greasy. I complimented the cook and he said he was new, but the bartender was helping out. “I stopped in here after I was finished cleaning and airbnb. I was by myself. I never go into a restaurant or a bar by myself. Unless I know someone in there. I knew absolutely nobody, but I was hungry. And it looked like a nice place. I ordered the hot beef and onion rings. There's a lot of things to look at in the bar it's a nice place. I like it a lot and I felt comfortable sitting there alone. The food was really good. I love love. Loved the onion rings. The bar tender was really nice, decent prices and a good atmosphere. I would definitely go back there alone or with friends“

“I've been here 3 times since they reopened after the fire. I've had the Fish Fry (with Lyonnaise) Hashbrowns, the Triple Pig and the Grilled Chicken sandwich (the last two with their Homemade Fries. All of the food and drinks have been excellent as was the service and atmosphere. They're doing awesome!“

“I like this place a lot. The only problem I have and that's my own personal problem is that I do not like water street or the downtown barstow area at all. Mainly because of parking, there are many places. I would love to go to on water st and Barstow area But I am not gonna waste my time trying to find a place to park. It's not worth it to me, but ok, the food was really good. It's a really nice place the service was really good and fast. Nothing bad to say good food good service good atmosphere I liked it alot“

“The bartender hates the customers if they ask for anything other than rail drinks or beers. But honestly, that is part of the charm. I've been coming here for 20+ years & she's always been there. & her consistency is excellent. The drinks are reasonably priced & tasty.This is definitely a townie bar. If you like that vibe you will 100% enjoy your time here.“

“This is more of a college hang out but my friends and I found it fun to stop for a beer, and it’s on a very bar saturated street- Water Street. We shared some incredible Wisconsin cheese curds. Compared to other places we went the prices here are much more reasonable. More than likely to keep the younger crowd happy. There are dartboards and pool tables, and it’s a fairly large place. Lots of fun was being had by all by looking around!“

“Our waitress was fantastic & recommended the spicy ranch with the pickle cheese curds which was so good & the Philly calzone was delish & no joke was GIANT! My husband & I could've definitely split one, but we both had half a calzone left for lunch the next day. Great experience & we will definitely be back for another huge calzone!“
