A friend and I come here regularly - lovely atmosphere whether inside (we love the fireplace seat) or out. Service is friendly and attentive, and they're always offering fun new seasonal drinks. The food is also surprisingly good, have had the soup-du-jour several times, egg bakes (omg the breakfast potatoes that come on the side are divine), and we've tried so many of their appetizers - get the sweet potato hummus when available! The figgy goat cheese is another favorite. For dessert, we almost always order the pecan pie stuffed cookies, they are baked to order and oh so good. This is one of my favorite places in town!
Hands down amazing customer service. As someone with Celiac I've found that Helix takes allergies very seriously and offers a wide variety of delicious gluten free options. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the wine is outstanding. They go out of their way to educate and help with wine selections if looking to purchase a bottle to take home. I have visited for date nights, girls nights out and biked in while enjoying the bike trails the area has to offer and the experience is always the same.

Went to Helix for the first time this past Sunday. Awesome experience! I was impressed with the food and beverage selection. They have tons of cocktails, all hand crafted. They also have a great bourbon selection. We had a wonderful server, I believe Alisha was her name. It’s my new favorite spot, check out the patio seating when you go!

Alicia is the best server. The food was delicious, drink specials were great and the outdoor seating was comfy, spacious and a perfect environment for hanging with friends and family.

My partner lives in the River Prairie complex, and we decided to have a walk date, visiting places on foot instead of by car. This was our first stop because we wanted to get drinks and an app here.
Needless to say- we wasted time and money here. I hate to blame the server, but she had no clue about the menu and struggled to understand what we wanted.
My partner got a cocktail, and I got a glass of wine; the wine was fine, and so was the cocktail; however, we felt the cocktail's plating was off. Why use lemon rind when you could use a beautiful slice of lemon?
The other issue was the appetizer. We only ordered garlic bread, but it was a lame attempt at garlic bread. It was bread with cheap parmesan and garlic that had been rubbed over it. Which is a good start, but I expect a restaurant to take more steps than I did when I was a teenager making a snack at home. To make matters worse, we asked for something to dip it in, and she brought back a pink, cream-kinda sauce, which is fine, but it was stone cold… and it also tasted like it was from a jar. You can make your own decisions about going here, but I suggested against it.

I don't know where to start. We arrived during brunch time, it is self seating. We had to wait for tables to be wiped down, they just had a small rush. Since all tables were dirty no menus on them, and had to wait a few before our server came over with 4 different ones. Had a great selection of drinks all day happy hour on Sunday. I was happy with the music and volume, we were able to talk to each other, however it seemed our server couldn't hear a thing we said. Drinks came quickly and were delicious. That is where it went downhill. After being left to look at the menu for 20 mins, we placed an appetizer order, during which time I was informed my entree choice and the alternative were sold out. Server left to place app order and 10 mins later came to take my entree order. At this time there were only 3 other tables, all of whom had already placed drink and/or food orders. Server didn't know any of the specials and had to go back to the kitchen multiple times to ask. Ordered American breakfast and a sandwich from brunch menu. Then sat there and waited almost an hour and half for our food. We watched as tables that had come in after we ordered get their food before us. Or the table next to us who ordered food after us get there food before us, even they had to wait almost an hour for their bagel sandwiches!! When we finally got our food I was only able to eat my sourdough toast. I asked for soft bacon and got the hardest and slightly burnt bacon that it crumbled on my plate, my eggs where not cooked as asked, and the potatoes were soggy and greasy, likely left under the heat lamp too long. The sandwich was okay. Overall, I could have gone to any fastfood restaurant and gotten more and better food for a fraction of the cost. Not worth the priced paid. While I wasn't expecting 5 star food, I was expecting it to be edible. We may come back for date night drinks, but will never order food here again.

Be ready to take your time. 90 minutes for 4 drinks and appetizers , which was ok because we had space to visit. Love their mocktail menu!

Absolutely PERFECT evening! Went here last night (Friday) for drinks and dinner. Service was amazing with friendly waiter that actually engaged with customer & listened. Amazing selection of bourbon. I had a flight (which I've never seen offered anywhere else) and then a glass after that. Great to be able to sample the different bourbons in small quantity side-by-side. Wife had a couple mixed drinks that were spot-on. Dinner was some of the fig dip then meatball sandwich and a reuben. Outstanding.
Thank you for a great night. We'll be back.

Imagine a restaurant open when it’s 24 below zero. That’s dedication to gastronomy. Not only are they open but they serve absolutely delicious food, the drink concoctions are supercalafragolistic and the service is outstanding. All of this in a beautiful building full of glass and light.
Finally, the owners make all of the above happen because they are dedicated entrepreneurs who run a great business!
Need I say more? Go!
