We had the biscuits and gravy and the eggs Benedict with housemaid hollandaise as well as the house French toast made with cinnamon buns. Everything was great. Can’t wait to try the pies on our next visit.

Great stop! Service was fantastic. I had the 1/2 Gring sub. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the bread tasty, however there was only about 1oz of roast beef on the sandwich, literally 1 and 1/2 thin slices. It was more a veggie sandwich, but still good.
The Italian sub had 4x the meat and was also good.
The pie selection is amazing.

Weekend Roady
One of the cozier spots to grab some food and some of the best baked goods on this side of Wisconsin. I drive here an hour every couple months or so on the weekends just for this experience. The food takes a little longer to get to you, but everything is unbelievably fresh, tasty and homemade. Leave the city and suburbs behind for a bit and come out here.

Stopped in mid-afternoon on a Wednesday -- the place was deserted but a touch on the call button and we had immediate service. Food was excellent, but special mention for the cracked wheat bread and the Tuscan potato soup. And the pie -- OMG, that pie! Very good service, nice country store atmosphere, we'll be back.

Best local fish fry around! Never disappointed. Crispy, not greasy. Hand cut french fries, homemade soup or salad. Great pastry section, too. They have a small but dedicated staff that go above and beyond to serve delicious homemade food, so be kind!
