I had the most beautiful experience at Cousins Subs over lunch today and felt like I needed to share with the masses! As I got out of my car, an older gentleman was carrying his order out when the bag ripped and his French fries went all over the parking lot. I went to help and offered to go in and ask for some replacement fries (even if I had to pay for them) and I would bring them out to his car. The manager at Cousins, Joey, is the kindest human I have ever experienced in customer service, so he had no problem dropping some new fries for this man, at no charge. The man ended up coming back in, rather than waiting in his car, which was great because I got to chat with him a bit more and learned he had served 5 years in the Air Force. I thanked him for his service and wished him a Happy Veterans Day. He got his order back with new fries (double bagged this time) and he went on his way. When I went to order, Joey the manager inserted himself at the cash register, pushed a few buttons, and then the cashier told me I was good to go! My lunch was on the house! It felt amazing going out of my way to do something kind for that man, but to have it met with even more kindness, had me practically in tears! 😭 Shout out to Joey and his team at Cousins Subs on East College in Appleton! You guys are top tier in the world of customer service!

I've been a regular at this location for years. In all that time, I've had a mess up on my order like once (I said no cheese, but they put it on; so I just picked it off). The food quality is good and consistent, the cheese curds are really good, mobile ordering is easy/fast (plus it has rewards and deals), and the people here are friendly. Joey is the best!

Originally from Wisconsin but now live in South Carolina and I really miss my Cousins subs! Today is my son’s wedding, we ordered 2 party packs, one for the grooms room and one for the brides room. I want to personally thank Joey for his excellent service from the moment I placed the phone order to the time I walked out with the subs Joey was amazing!
