I live less than a mile away. Last Saturday around 9pm, I stopped in. I'm 74 years old. I was asked to provide identity, that was no problem, I did. But the person at the door wanted to take a picture of my driver's license. That's when I said, No. I was asked to leave, and I politely did. I personally had a nightmare with identity theft. If you ever experience that, you'll get real paranoid about someone taking a picture of your driver's license...
They are so nice and helpful! I love this location
Missed connection: I called to ask when the kitchen closed, and the beautiful woman on the phone was so kind about accommodating us. We rushed over and brought her cupcakes … and realized we called Appleton (we are in Huntsville)

It is one of my favorite places in the valley to go for karaoke and drinks. The atmosphere is always so inviting. People are always having a great time and are so supportive. As someone who doesn't spend a great deal of time going to the bars downtown, Fat Sammy's is my new favorite.
