This was my first time in this bar. My friend was hanging out and I decided to join her. It was a nice dive bar and people were friendly enough. It was busy for not so big of a crowd.
The Hide-a-Way should stay hidden! Not to say that it’s a bad bar, it’s just way overpriced for what it is. $5.50 for a rail mixed drink at a little hole in the wall dive bar? Who are they kidding?!? I’d expect those prices on the Ave not on Wisconsin, hidden behind U-Haul’s, with a gravel “parking” lot. Was in twice, wanted to make sure the first time wasn’t just a mistake on the part of a bartender who admitted to only worked twice a month. The bartenders were...

This is a good dive bar with a decent selection of beer and booze. The parking can be dicey when they are busy. They have a small outdoor garden for smokers. The bartenders are good, just don't get on their wrong side.
