One of the best meals I have had in a while of this particular type of cuisine. My husband and I absolutely love experiencing all different kinds of food from everywhere. We recently relocated to the Appleton area after living 20 years in Wausau. One of the harder parts of leaving was losing all of the local small business places we frequented because we knew that their food was authentic and delicious. I happened upon Ong’s kitchen, just by exploring the area close to our house....
Recently moved and have been looking for a new go to Hmong restaurant/deli. Tried the curry noodles (kapong) and it was really good! Served with cabbage, mint, green onions and cilantro on the side too! I do wish there were quail eggs in it but that's just personal preference. Spring rolls were great too and I honestly didnt need to order them bc my bowl of curry noodles was filling. I do like that they had water dispenser for self serving as well as having take out boxes...
This isn’t our first time trying Ong’s products. Ong has a small family owned business, and really prides herself in the cleanliness and preparation of their menu items. We’ve tried their eggrolls multiple times, which are always fantastic with flavor and are perfectly made. We also ordered the crab Rangoon‘s, fried rice and Banh Mi sandwich. Everything was great. Menu prices are reasonable.
