River Tyme Bistro is located in a building that was constructed in the 1870’s as a paper mill. Amazing historic preservation and renovation! We held a wedding rehearsal dinner in the Dam Room, looking out on a dam on the Fox River. Recommend connecting directly with Event Manager Heidi who will take care of every detail! She worked with us to meet the needs of our guests related to food selection, beverages and AV needs. Guest services for the event was great!

First of all, when we arrived the Bartender who was very friendly told us to have a seat at the table outside, when the waitress came she told us that we shouldn't be there because the table wasn't cleaned off and the Bartender should not of told us to sit there. We asked her if she wanted us to move and she stated that it was too late now. I chalked it up to being understaffed and maybe she was having a bad day. Beautiful atmosphere, The food was phenomenal and drinks were amazing. I definitely will return for another try.

This restaurant was cute and right by the river. We enjoyed sitting outside, under the canopy. The food was delicious. It was fresh and flavorful. The two gentlemen by the greeters station were both professional and pleasant.

Went here as part of mile of music. I didn't eat there but I did have a drink. The River Thyme Painkiller was so refreshing and delicious. I would go back for the drink alone. It was also serverd in a cute pint jar. Nice people who worked there too.

SO GOOD!! I ordered the French toast bake (yes, I know it’s soaked in cream and yes, I know I’m lactose intolerant) AND IT WAS SO LUSCIOUS AND HEAVENLY!! The rest of my family also thoroughly enjoyed their meals!! The scenery was great and the staff was also just incredible!! I highly recommend!

The view was fun but went for Jamaica hand pies and smashed potatoes both of which are no longer available. service was very slow for 3 in afternoon. I think it is worth checking out but was a bit disappointed.

This is a great spot if you're looking to try something out of your comfort zone but don't want to spend a ton of money and still want food you know you can enjoy. The quality of food is really great for the price. The atmosphere is chill, but sophisticated. The view is the River and the dams is one of my favorite restaurant views in Appleton. The owners have almost completed the remodel of the deck that overlooks the rushing water. I cannot wait to come back when it is finished and warm out. I have only been for brunch, but can assume that all meals would be delightful here. Oh and the coffee- they have a full coffee bar and their drinks do not disappoint. Also check out the details. I wanted to take the plates and mugs home with me as they are absolutely stunning. Love this place
