What a wonderful evening in your restaurant last night. As a first time diner at your establishment, we were met with rustic charm and elegance, Fresh roses on the tables and an amazing view. Our waitress Amanda M made us feel welcome and her attention to details was amazing. We felt spoiled by her and amazed at her spunk. It was a magical treat for my daughter and myself. Thank you and especially Amanda for making us Welcome and Special & Worthy of a special evening out. ^j^
We heard good reviews so my girlfriend and I were excited to stop for lunch today….we unfortunately were disappointed. From the lackluster greeting at the door by the hostess to the bland burgers and fries, we struggled to get any engagement with our waiter. I even paused to consider whether I was under dressed or had said/done something wrong. It wasn’t overly busy so this experience baffled me.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Appleton area. However, I was disappointed with the front-desk folks’ lack of creative thinking and can-do attitude. When I called before arriving, I mentioned the number of people in my party and mentioned that I will also need a high chair. He said nothing available inside but patio is open and lots of seats are readily available. When we arrived, he was right, nobody was sitting in the patio.
