Was recommended to eat here by a hotel guest services representative. I came in and sat down since it was self seating. Waitress asked what I wanted to drink and I asked for coffee. She came back with coffee and asked if I was ready to order. I asked for a few more minutes which turned into 10 mins or more (maybe?). I had to flag her down and asked to give my order. It really wasnt busy I was under the impression she was doting on her regular customers. I finally got my food....
South of the border omelet was excellent!! Perfectly cooked and potatoes were great as well! Waitress was very attentive and friendly and the place had a very mild atmosphere so noise levels where very low which was nice.
This diner offers great food with a welcoming atmosphere. While service can slow down during rush hours, it's still manageable. It’s been a while since I last visited, and I’m glad to see it’s still affordable, even with a slight price increase.
