I’m a bit confused on this one. I got to Appleton a little bit late and walked into the steakhouse at a few minutes after 9 PM during the week. The website says they are open for dinner through 10 PM every night and 11 PM on weekends so I thought I was OK. When I walked in at 9:05 PM I asked the bartender and two other people if I could have dinner and one person said yes no problem, the other two including the bartender, my server, said we’re not sure we think we’re closing....
Vince Lombardi's has the look and feel of a classic steakhouse. Lots of wood with leather seats and of course a Vince Lombardi trophy. There is a sign on the street and another on a door that leads to an elevator, however that's not where you enter. It is located in the Hilton hotel with no valet to speak of, a parking garage is across the street. Food was phenomenal, I had the lobster Mac n cheese and the serving was huge. Easily two people could’ve eaten out of it and still take leftovers. The service was a bit slow, especially when it was time to get the check. 30+ mins to get it. Let’s just say that he was lucky a gratuity was added to the bill. Food was great, but it was a one and done experience for me and I’m sure for the rest of the party on that table.
