EL TARASCO offers delicious and hot food with good portions. The mixed fajitas for two are phenomenal, and the fajita quesadilla is also a favorite. The restaurant provides a great atmosphere with friendly staff who are quick to help. Chips and salsa are served right away, and the enchiladas for two are massive and super tasty. The steak in the fajita burrito was tender and flavorful, and the chips and salsa were excellent. Customers can enjoy a nice view, including across the road to the South shore of Superior, which adds to the experience. The restaurant has a good selection of Mexican beers and drinks, and the service is outstanding. Although some dishes like the combo plate can be hit or miss, overall, the experience remains enjoyable. On a quiet day, guests may find themselves seated near an A/C vent, so bringing a jacket might be helpful. Despite some issues with the patio cleanliness, EL TARASCO is a popular spot and considered a must-visit in Ashland.
