I recently moved to the Twin Cities, and it took me months to find a Chinese restaurant as good as New China in a metro area nearly five hundred times the population as Ashland. Try the Bang Bang Chicken, it's the bomb.
We have been going to this place for over 40 years. We drive an hour to go there. It was always well worth the trip until last night. Our service was great but the food was not. The egg rolls were tasteless, which to be truthful, we didn’t care for them the previous time either, they changed the recipe or something. We asked for our soup to be hot, it was luke warm. I had sweet sour chicken and hubby had imperial delight. My chicken was tough and both meals were lacking flavor....
We have eaten here for over 6 years. We love the atmosphere and fine curtesy from all of the staff. Food is always delicious. We recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice meal
