New China is always a must stop for me when I am in the Ashland area. The food is always delicious, good size portions, friendly staff and a clean restaurant. Who would have thought some of the best Chinese food is in the Northwoods!
The food was amazing, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. While I was there they never let my glass run dry and made sure to check on how the food was.
Parking: Has parking lot on property, and street next to it can be parked on
Kid-friendliness: There is nothing making it not kid friendly. And with how nice and helpful staff is, it makes it a good environment to bring your kids

Food can sometimes be hit or miss. But the staff and restaurant are always great. If you're craving Chinese food give it a try. One note the egg rolls have peanut butter in them so it's a bit odd, a miss for me, but some people love them. the house soup is great, I could just drink the broth.
