Been living here 2 years… HOW DID I NOT COME HERE BEFORE?! It’s great. My new fave chill place in Ashland. Good coffee, sandwiches and other stuff. Their water is ARTESIAN. I love it!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first visit to Ashland after our Madeline island trip, and this is a wonderful idea if the bar was opened later than 7pm. My other complaint is that for the cost of the rooms, you would think that the place would be clean on the inside and outside. On the deck, there were spiders, dead bugs & webs. I understand it is outside but it should be cleaned up better.

We will always stop here when heading up the shore line and on the way back. The drinks are always amazing and the sandwiches are so filling. The layout of the place is amazing. You can sit downstairs and view the ice heaves in the winter (or the waves in warmer temps) or sit upstairs and see for miles. We’ve met a very interesting fellow here once and it was such a comfortable place to hear him talk about his life over coffee. We were in the upstairs room with the glass all...
