Had dinner with 10 friends from our book club last night. Nice interesting atmosphere. We tried quite a few different entrees and we were all happy with our choices. The service was good. I recommend Dawn Manor
We stopped into the Speakeasy and ordered a craft cocktail off their menu. Happened to look up and see her pull the tap lever on a Tattersall premade cocktail keg. Being in a Speakeasy we expected hand crafted cocktails. With that said it is their prerogative to serve it this way but the menu should have alerted us to this fact. What a beautiful place and location. Outdoor seating next to the woods and hearing the water nearby was awesome! My husband said his old fashioned was good, and so were the crab cakes. Sadly, my husband’s steak was way overcooked. My 4 oz filet definitely was not 4 oz, was burnt, and had such an awful charred taste. Sadly, we won’t be back.
