Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm. Not crowded, but still took 30 minutes for a salad and a potato to arrive. The lettuce was frozen. They forgot the chicken on the southwest chicken salad. The staff seems unmotivated. No background music so the place felt like a funeral parlor with everyone whispering. All around bad experience.

I absolutely love their cookies, they're my sweet cheat of the week! The cashier Natalia is very nice and kind. The only thing that I don't like is that they don't have any garbage can in the lobby, but overall so clean and reasonable prices.

We love McAlister’s and visit often. This last time we couldn’t believe the unprofessionalism. (Payton)This location has gone down hill. We were served rotten soup to our entire family! When we said something to Payton! The manager ?. She said I have a fresh batch ready would you like to try some….. as we watched her with no shame, put soup in a plastic container and warm it up in the microwave. After standing at the counter for 15 min while the MANAGER tried to figure out how to use the computer. After about 20 min she comes over and says. I’m gonna have to refund your last order and recharge you for the new order. So take more find away from me… so at that point we just asked for a refund for the meals and we would go elsewhere. Payton the “manager” so sorry I can’t refund you since you already ate some of your food. We left the rest of our food and will not be back till they can hire a competent manager! And on top of it, they were low on cookies for the kids meals so they took the cookies out and cut them into pieces to spread them out between kids meals. My daughter was given a quarter of a little cookie. Save your money plenty other places in the dells that treat returning customers well!

This place has gone down hill since covid. Staff is friendly, but they always seem short staffed like everywhere else. Hours of operation have gone down too in the off season for the area.

We ordered 2 of the same subs with 1 gluten free and the other with regular bread. The server bringing us our food didn't know one was supposed to be GF and since both breads looked similar couldn't tell the difference. We asked to take it back to make sure we knew which one was GF. Luckily I got the correct sandwich or I would have become very sick. The food was very good!Dietary restrictions: See above regarding gluten free experience

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. It was nice and quiet as there were hardly any other customers at the time, but it's also off-season for the Dells, so I would have been surprised if it was busy. The service was fast, the food was great, and the price was just right. This is definitely the place to go to if you aren't looking for anything flashy or touristy.

It's like Paneras sister. Good soup, good sandwich, not too expensive. Good little afternoon eat when your ready for lunch or want something light. The Mccallisters club was pretty neutral. Good flavor and had a little bit of everything on it.
