“First, let me start by saying this place is absolutely adorable.Great food (I recommend the Meredith Panini, so delish), great staff & GREAT coffee.Dietary restrictions: LOVE that dairy free options are available!”
“Dot’s Tavern is a quintessential rural Wisconsin dive bar experience. Walking down to the basement bar feels like walking down the steep steps to your friend’s parent’s home bar. The service is as you’d expect, straight to the point, but happy to engage in conversation, especially when there’s a game on. Don’t forget the shake of the day!”
“Food is amazing. Probably the best bar burger and fries we have ever had. Fresh garden tomatoes etc....definitely recommend. We actually tipped the cook and the bartender it was so good!”
“This is one of our favorite places in the summer, as their outdoor beer garden is spectacular under the trees, along the river, dog friendly, and typically with live music. We even bike there sometimes. We were in the area this winter and stopped by and enjoyed our indoor visit as well! They have a few tables and simple games and the historical building is fun to explore as there are multiple seating areas depending on what type of vibe you are looking for. The building itself connects indoors to a cute shop as well and there are plenty of nearby areas to grab and bring in food. They are dog friendly and have water bowls as well as treats for your furry friends, and I've always had friendly bartenders who are willing to let you try beer samples to ensure you get something you like. The hops are grown locally and the beer is made in small batches so it rotates between visits. They added some cute merchandise items as well including free small stickers, if they aren't out just ask!”
“Fun small town bar! The bartenders and owner are wonderful always make you feel welcome and very friendly. The drinks and food are delicious and great prices. Stop by and say hi to Petey”
“I'm reluctant to say anything about the cute little town of Paoli. So many fun things to see and do. Love the gypsy and the cocktails in a bag downstairs. Beer from the hop garden...awesome ”
“Last minute decision to go find fish fry and that is never easy on a Friday much less a holiday Friday.Drove down to Belleville and was able to find seats at the bar. Friendly bartender Van took car of us with great service. He's a big St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan so we connected over our mutual Cardinals fandom. Van knew all the regulars by name, so my goal is to someday achieve that status. Fish was perfectly cooked as was my shrimp. Breading is a bit thick, not the panko and club soda light batter, but tasty. Plate came with fries, buttered bread and coleslaw. In fact the Friday menu only says the kind of fish or chicken you want. The sides are as described. All of that food for $9.50/ person was a great deal. Bottled beer, mixed drinks and cans of soda. All in all a good Sconnie bar on a Friday night.”
“This restaurant has amazing food that you can tell is homemade with fresh ingredients. The food quality is amazing and the people who make and serve it are always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming in, seating yourself, and enjoying a wonderful breakfast/lunch/dinner here anytime you can.”
“Great place that unfortunately is rarely open. When it is open it's the nicest place in town to grab a beer by far. They always have a great selection of different craft beers on tap and it rotates regularly. The bar seems to be run more as a hobby than as a business and is often closed during popular times. The limited food menu looks great but I haven't ordered any because the one person working seems pretty swamped every time I have stopped. Just ordering a beer can take quite a while but at least he is pleasant and friendly. If you can catch it when it's open it's worth a visit.”
“If you're in the area, stop in. Food was better than expected, meaning, great bar food. Everything was fresh. Chili was great. Good beer selection on tap and an extensive spirit selection. We will stop again. Cheers!”
“New owner is amazing ❤ the new Glarus and the belleville will always have the best owners. Theyre super friendly and made the stores better than they were before.”
“Most popular place in town. Only open weekends and a few other special days. Just beer and hard ciders and root beer. Free popcorn. The pulled pork is made in house. The owners are wonderful people whose only hire people who want to help people have fun. Everyone likes the U-Pour-It system. It's fun to play by the ounce. Very dog friendly. Great logo merch at great prices.Vegetarian options: Curds, pretzels, Mac and cheese. Maybe others.”
“I’ve loved all the coffee i’ve gotten here. Great vibes with their commitment to sustainability in a variety of aspects in their business - from repurposed furniture, to reusable dishware, and even compost. Love to see a business in touch with the community and the planetDietary restrictions: Lots of alt milk options”
“AMAZING tacos. This is the only mexican place I know that serves both cheese curds and esquites. In terms of atmosphere, there's not much. When I went, there was no music, it's plastic tables but that doesn't detract at all from the amazing food. Highly ”
“GET THE BURNT ENDS, the brisket, the fried pickles, the blackened blues sandwich, and the Boise salmon! YUM. We went as a family and all tried each others food. It was the best meal I have had in Wisconsin since moving here almost a year ago. If you can’t decide on anything… START WITH THE BURNT ENDS I WOULDN'T STEAR YOU WRONG! ❤️”
“The tofu tacos are delicious. 4 instead of 5 stars cause I think their prices are a bit high and online orders are always seemingly ready way ahead of the time it says it will be ready so you show up on time and your stuff is cold.”
“Excellent tour, very professional and friendly tour guides.Loved the Tasting Room and discussions on the history and tasting new beer offerings.Note: the tour starts one mile north of the main brewery location. There are no signs on Hwy 69 or Hwy W to find it.”
“Service dog friendly atmosphere. Can get a little crowded during busy hours, but for the most part there is always seating outside of they run out of it indoors. The pelmini is to die for. Cute atmosphere, sells artwork from local artists.”
“Just a little bar in a little town with great burgers and fries. Food came out quickly and tasted great, free refills on pop. Couldn't ask for more or better, will be going back frequently..Parking: along the street and in front of bar.”
“I was there on opening night. Sometime after that I had the best ribs I've ever had. Tonight I had them again and they were even better somehow. The slaw is still different than anything I've had. Sides like potato pancakes (latkes) and cowboy beans. A bar with rare bourbons. I'm almost 67 and have been to a lot of places. It's hard to imagine this place is in a town with a third of the people on my last cruise ship. I want to do anything I can to make sure I can go here whenever I can spend such wonderful calories.Parking: Not a concern.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp”
“I love the remodel of the interior and the new cafe in this building! The makeover is modern and bright with plenty of seating options. I’ve made the trip to Verona a couple times just for their coffee and it’s always worth it. The have great local pastries and their espresso is perfect.”
“Checked out this cute little coffee shop/ knitting shop in downtown Verona. I had a danish, which was amazing. So flakey and perfect. I paired that with a hot matcha latte. The cutest little shop, with a lot of neat little trinkets from local businesses. I also snagged a sticker! There’s also a whole knitting shop, with patterns, supplies, knitting needles. A worker named Julia found my friend and I, and gave us a tour of the knitting rooms. She also gave us a ton of info and gave us a business card. They hold classes if you want to learn how to knit.Such a cute little place. The staff was so kind!I may have to check out one of their classes. And I’ll definitely be back again for coffee!”
“This is our favorite restaurant. Food is excellent.sometines there is a wait to be seated, but they always get you a table sooner than they say it will take. Everyone is extremely nice. The on line ordering could not be any easier and fast.Love this restaurant!”
“Romantic atmosphere. Outstanding menu selection. Really delicious Salmon, Wiener Schnitzel, Lobster Bisque and Lemon Ginger Cheesecake. Very friendly, professional service. Great location. We'll be back!”
“If you are in the neighborhood, check this one out. Similar to other branches of Chocolate Shop Ice cream, this one has tons of flavor options, indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Usually, not very crowded...”
“Great find in Madison while traveling for a basketball tournament. Cozy shop, tasty coffee and kind staff.Kid-friendliness: My kids has a lovely time and were welcomed!”
“Really kind and helpful Waitress but it gets chaotic and crowded really fast! Just be prepared that it won't be an ideal spot for conversations or for dating in a more relaxed setting due to the noise and people per square foot space :)”
“We arrived on a weekday invited by friends. It was our first visit and it was superb! Our host greeted us in a very friendly manner speaking distinctly and at the level that we elder (80s) people love to hear. Our food choices involved four different entrees and each drew praise. The service continued to be exemplary and our pleasant surroundings assured our host that we would be returning...soon.My wife and I highly recommend eating at this establishment!”
