This is the original Hop Garden location. Tasty beers, food, and a layout that is just conducive to chillin' out, relaxing, and taking it easy for a while. Located right along the Sugar River, it's a fantastic place to unwind and hang out with friends and/or family. And you can't beat the outdoor live music happening in the Summer months. On the beer front, Nuggetopia is still one of my favorites. But so many others that definitely hit the mark. And when The Distractors are on the schedule, one of Madison's finest cover bands in the area. Solid beers, foods, and music - what a combo!

We love this place! My husband and I had our second date, got engaged, and had wedding pictures taken here. Now if we ever go out, we go here because it’s a one-of-kind park-like brewery where the whole family (which now includes kids and a dog) can have fun! It’s very bus on nice weekend days, so expect street parking which may be a bit of a walk. Never a bad idea to bring your own blanket and chairs too!
