Blue Heron Reviews
We love The Blue Heron & usually go on a Weds night for fish. This past Saturday we went to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We ordered the Sat Special. 2 ,8oz strips steaks, soup, salad, garlic mashed potatoes & a dessert to split, $54.99. Wow! Not only was the food awesome for a great price, the staff was awesome too. In my opinion this is the best place for quality cocktails, food & service at a great price. Special shout out for their home made blue cheese salad dressing....read full review
The ribs are delicious meat just falls off the bone, the chicken and fish also excellent. Try their cheese cake they make it very good. Soup is also made there.
Got there before 4:30 and was told it would be 45 minute wait for a table. 1 hour and 20 minutes later we were finally seated. My wife and I decided on the all you can eat fried chicken and fried fish. The fish was over cooked and dry. The chicken was good compared to the fish. Not sure if this is unusual and not the norm, but we can not recommend Blue Heron and will not be coming back.

The Blue Heron is a long-standing local favorite, known for its delicious all-you-can-eat fish and chicken fry on Wednesdays and Fridays. The restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere and efficient service, despite occasional staffing challenges. While the wait for a table may be short, the food is worth it, with hot, fresh, and flavorful options. The fish, whether baked or fried, has been praised for its quality, and the chicken is also a customer favorite. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though parking may require a brief wait. Overall, the Blue Heron provides a satisfying dining experience for those seeking a taste of the area's best fish fry.
