Had the fish fry. The batter on the cod was a little heavy and the baked potatoes were a little small. Otherwise, the food, especially the fried red potatoes, and the service was good. The view of the golf course is a plus.
Cheers is the place to go in Birchwood! But I'll be honest, I never heard of it until my husband & I moved up here. We went & tried out the Fish fry on 6/17/22 & it was one of the best fish frys we've had in a long time. It came with homemade tarter sauce, homemade coleslaw and either fries or potato salad. I would HIGHLY recommend giving Cheers a try! If the Fish Fry is that good, then the rest of the menu is going to be pretty awesome. ?
Cheers! This place was our “second home” the first year we had a place at Tagalong. Always, cheerful and welcoming and exactly what we wanted. Huge menu, great food. We particularly liked the pizza and nachos as we sipped our drinks and whiled-away our days. Covid took its toll and we’ve since sold our place, but we remember fondly our good ol’ days at Cheers.
