I stopped by Ma’s Bakery in Bloomington and picked up a cherry turnover, an apple turnover, two cookies, and a cinnamon roll — and wow, everything was amazing! The turnovers were flaky, buttery, and filled with the most perfectly balanced fruit filling I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, I have never had a turnover this good. The cookies were soft, the cinnamon roll was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and everything tasted like it was made with love.
