This is just your typical Wisconsin Bar with a dining room. Everything seems fine. The choice of menu options is small but ok. The price is what you expect if your from Wisconsin but dirt cheap if your from Chicago. My complaint is that I woke up in the middle of the night with heartburn....and that rarely if ever happens to me. I suspect it was from the deep frying.
The staff, the chefs, and the management were all amazing. We showed up with about 30 Mustang's and well over 50 people having dinner. This would easily overwhelm most places, but they were right on. Food was amazing and came out quickly, drinks were good, so kudos to the bartender. Our waitresses were awesome, and definitely earned their money this night. They didn't stop, always attended to our needs and didn't miss a thing. I've never seen a place work as...
Excellent pub food menu. Some in our large group had pizza which was great. Very crispy crust, good toppings. Many had walleye sandwiches which was also great. Attentive service and they allowed our large group to have separate checks for each family which was so much easier than trying to figure out how much each family owed with tax and tip on one bill. We'll definitely be back the next time we're vacationing in Boulder junction area.
