Been driving by this place for a couple of weeks now due to work, hadn't had it since Virginia. When asked what I wanted for my birthday dinner, I said Famous Dave's. I was very disappointed when I got here to see it wasn't an actual sit down restaurant, but more like the Mission BBQs, with seating option. Had I known this, I wouldn't have packed up the family thinking we were eating out.
I was pleasantly surprised they were open Labor Day and I was definitely craving BBQ. Placed an online order and was a little early but order came quickly. I was warmly greeted by everyone I encountered. That's a nice change in the service industry these days, especially on a holiday. This will now be my go to location because the staff was really great! My ribs, corn and mac 'n cheese were all yummy!
This place is more of a to go place vs. sit down. We were a larger group and they were accommodating with moving seats around to fit us. The food was good and the portions were satisfactory BUT the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! Will definitely return!!!
