Noticed right away that the server was wearing a dirty sweatshirt. Floor was pretty dirty too, which was silly because it was like 4pm and not very busy. Occasionally heard colorful comments from the kitchen area which the server apologized for and specifically turned up the music. Order was somewhat off, late appetizer, burger toppings screwed up. Very friendly and helpful server (wish I remembered his name). Very casual looking place, nothing too exciting about the decor, clean. We all ordered burgers, relatively fast service (there was only one other couple in the place aside from us), nicely plated. Peanut butter milk shake was ordered and we even received extra; it was to die for, amazing! Reason for 4 stars: very plain, unseasoned, tasteless patty. It has to have some kind of taste! I always thought there were just so much you can do with a burger, but the menu at Jake's Burger proved otherwise. They have taken to a whole new level! Walking in, we were surprised by an elegant, yet casual ambiance and a black board filled with daily specials. The service was quick and friendly and the food reasonably presented. We had cheese curds and onion rings for sides. For our main dishes we had a fully loaded burger and two portions of sliders (three mini-burgers)....
