I called another bakery (not National Bakery) that’s on Greenfield in West Allis, wanted to order a cake for the following week. The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. We are from Wisconsin but now live out of state. Frequently we visit our home state during the year, and always make a point to stop in each trip for a wonderful treat. This last visit, however, we came into the store to find that there was only one small table and a man just sitting there reading a newspaper and not eating or drinking anything.
