Stopped by on my way back from Delavan. Chatting with Jeff (owner ) about when I used to dine at Marino's in the late 80s. Just east of his business on the curve. Nice and quiet place to easily enter and exit w o getting ran over.
I'm from western Kenosha County and its local knowledge that B&Ds has always had the best fish fry. Walleye, perch, cod, gills. I've had them all and the hype is true. Friday fish fry and a whiskey old fashioned in a quintessential Wisconsin bar. The best

The best fish fry I have ever had! This is a local bar and restaurant, nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The staff/owner were very friendly. We ate the perch and the blue gill and I can’t say enough about either of them! They were fantastic! Worth the drive if you live a ways away! They were very busy so don’t be surprised if there is a wait.
