“Stopped by on a random weekend after doing a "close our eyes and pick a random spot on the map for a road trip". We didn't have food, but sat for a few cocktails. The local crowd was so fun and our bartender "Fiona" was a kick. (Not her real name but she knows who she is!) Speaking some code here, Fiona, don't get caught doing the superglue trick! “I stopped in Sunday morning at the 11am opening time. I had the place to myself and had the pleasure of hanging out with Justin. The , he served me up some amazing ribs. So tender and full of flavors. Alongside these he served me this amazing side of smoked chicken pasta salad (get it!). I ate almost all of the Cole slaw which I never do. Both it and the potato salad I received had like a German flair to them. Both also some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Hidden gem only 35 minutes from the house! Thanks, guys!“
“Pete takes me to Wisconsin to see Bear's games with his brother, a treat in Packers territory :-) The food is crazy good and the atmosphere is lots of fun, with many locals and out-of-towners being so close to Illinois. Gambling machines, darts and a blliard table for additional entertainment.“

“The Wife and I came in for a great experience today. We had the fried cheese curds to start, I had the fried perch and she had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the great food. Heather was super delightful as a waitress and even took the time to fill us in on some of the incredible history of the building and area.“
“Went in there on a Thursday maybe around 2 with a buddy to grab a late lunch got two burger w/fries and 3 beers was not expecting one of the best burgers I ever tasted to come from here I'm guessing they get the beef fresh from a farmer down the road but idk it was superb one of those burgers u eat and think about for the next few days nothing special on it nothing fancy just your basic burger toppings the atmosphere is okay not the friendliest customers but they are just probably sick of people coming in from out of town and disrespecting there hang out spot it was rite after memorial day so I don't blame em the service was very good food arrived not long after ordering and everything was super fresh the lady behind the counter was a sweetheart very nice professional and friendly they have a cool smoking area in the back video poker and a electronic juke box I didn't stay long because I was on work break but wish I could. Everything was reasonably priced I think I payed maybe 30 bucks for everything I'm going back soon to try other items on the menu hats off to the cookVegetarian options: They offer a veggie burger“

“This was my first time patronizing this establishment. When I first walked in I was surprised at how busy it was, but we found a family just leaving so our wait time for a table was minimal. The waitress was extremely busy yet was able to keep up with her responsibilities. The food we ordered was very good. The atmosphere was energetic and positive. The only thing that I could say that may be a negative to some is that trying to hold a conversation was trying because of amount of noise. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back again.“

“We recently rented out the private room for my son's baptism after party and it went terrific. The space was big enough for our guests and kids to run around. The service was very professional and the food was fantastic, everyone raved about the Mac N Cheese.“
“Nice place, but a bit pricey. Also another place that charges their customers to use credit/debit cards. It is funny how years ago they wanted credit card usage to avoid having cash on hand and now they can change you for using plastic.Update... The fees have been the same forever. The difference is, in the past the company receiving the credit card absorbed the cost. Now you want your customer to pay you to do business with you. I think that is a step to far.“
“The best fish fry I have ever had! This is a local bar and restaurant, nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The staff/owner were very friendly. We ate the perch and the blue gill and I can’t say enough about either of them! They were fantastic! Worth the drive if you live a ways away! They were very busy so don’t be surprised if there is a wait.“
