“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Perfect seasoning, healthy chicken, and so much more affordable than the big chains. They are so good I had to order 3 dozen to go. “Bassett Creek Saloon is a hidden gem! The service is phenomenal and so was the atmosphere! Everyone from the staff to the patrons were incredibly nice and gave several recommendations of what to try.We started off with fried portobello mushroom slices which were amazing. For our meal, we had smoked pulled pork sandwiches with a side of potato salad, and a side of the smoked chicken pasta salad. Everything is homemade down to the bbq sauce, and was super delicious. The sandwiches were extremely generous, and the meat melted in your mouth like butter on a stack of flapjacks. The smoked chicken pasta salad was super flavorful, and had the perfect blend of smoky, creamy, and seasonings, and no shortage of smoked chicken. The potato salad was rich and creamy and one of the best I've had in a while. One of the patrons asked which we liked more between the potato salad and the smoked chicken pasta salad and we couldn't decide because both were phenomenal. As someone who normally passes on coleslaw I can honestly say I ate it all and almost ordered a second cup. Even the pickle was crunchy down to the last bite.There wasn't a bad bite in the entire meal. We definitely will be coming back next time on a Saturday for their ribs and to see a duck race! “I’ve been taking our young family here for several years and it’s well worth the 35 minute drive north to get there. I love the Philly cheesesteak brat. Wife gets the shroomwurst and kids get kid menu items which they love. Tonight I had the Seasonal St Paddy’s day Reubenwurst. Their pretzel buns are delicious and we have never been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered.“

“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“
“The best fish fry I have ever had! This is a local bar and restaurant, nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The staff/owner were very friendly. We ate the perch and the blue gill and I can’t say enough about either of them! They were fantastic! Worth the drive if you live a ways away! They were very busy so don’t be surprised if there is a wait.“
“Went here for the first time a few weeks ago the staff and owner were super friendly and welcoming. I decided to go back to eat a few days later with my family all the food was great and we are quite picky!! “I came to watch the band and noticed a sign on the wall talking about barbecue baby back ribs.I usually have a hard time finding places that cook them so they fall off the bone and melt in your mouth.This place said there's did and guess what? “Went in there on a Thursday maybe around 2 with a buddy to grab a late lunch got two burger w/fries and 3 beers was not expecting one of the best burgers I ever tasted to come from here I'm guessing they get the beef fresh from a farmer down the road but idk it was superb one of those burgers u eat and think about for the next few days nothing special on it nothing fancy just your basic burger toppings the atmosphere is okay not the friendliest customers but they are just probably sick of people coming in from out of town and disrespecting there hang out spot it was rite after memorial day so I don't blame em the service was very good food arrived not long after ordering and everything was super fresh the lady behind the counter was a sweetheart very nice professional and friendly they have a cool smoking area in the back video poker and a electronic juke box I didn't stay long because I was on work break but wish I could. “Great spot to "Stumble Inn" to. Little spot but a real great roadside bar and grill feeling. Bartender friendly and attentive. Burgers were awesome and done to perfection. Normally not a Ciabatta roll fan but the grilling of the buns made me one for the Stumble Inn. Saw the Ribeye steak being done, definitely have to try next time.“

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

“Stopped by on a random weekend after doing a "close our eyes and pick a random spot on the map for a road trip". We didn't have food, but sat for a few cocktails. The local crowd was so fun and our bartender "Fiona" was a kick. (Not her real name but she knows who she is!) Speaking some code here, Fiona, don't get caught doing the superglue trick!
